Braving It and Making It: Insights from successful Investors in Muslim Mindanao by Cielito F. Habito
This handbook examines the experience of six private companies that had chosen to locate in the Muslim Mindanao, and had demonstrably benefited from it. The six case studies deliberately sought to identify the enabling factors, useful insights and "secrets" that made it possible for the firms to thrive under the otherwise peculiar and often challenging circumstances with the ARMM.
It is hoped that the insights and lessons shared by these companies could help guide other potential investors to navigate the otherwise challenging investment territory that ARMM may initially appear to be.

Booklet 1 of the Mindanao Economic Policy Papers: Energy and Power Situation in Mindanao Policy Environment and Impacts by Ella S. Antonio.
This policy paper aims to raise important points and provide recommendations that may contribute to the Mindanao energy discourse and enrich the energy action agenda. It hopes to help expand the participation and strengthen the control and influence of Mindanawons in developing and pursuing their own energy agenda.
The Mindanao Economic Policy Papers were prepared as part of the work led by Dr. Cielito F. Habito, AusAID Adviser for Mindanao Economic Development to examine constraints to investment and economic development in Mindanao, especially in Muslim Mindanao, and determine appropriate ways to address them.
Conduct and preparation of the studies were administered by BTI and undertaken between August 2011 and July 2012. Hence, any recent developments and changes subsequent to that period would not be reflected in the policy papers.

Special focus is given to the budgets of the ARMM regional government and its component local government unit, as this is where the lament is strongest.
